Week 12:

Week 11:
No lecture this week, so I just decide to review the material from those weeks and get a better prepare to the final exam. There is only one course content still confused me which is the reduction method from last week. Hopefully I can get more explanation by attend this week or next week office hours.

Week 10:
Similar material from week 9 the big O prove, instead of increase not bigger than the function f(x), big omega is not slower than f(x). The reduction method for the halts function problem is sort of hard material in this week, and the course note explain in a complex way that really confusing me. Hopefully there is more explanation and example problem that related to such one in the course website.

Week 9:
This week lecture we learn big-Oh of polynomials, non-polynomials, and limits. In personal opinion this is fairly simpler compare to other section especially the week 8 material. I wish there is further excise on the course materials and maybe there would have a online quiz something that would be so much better. The limit prove question is quiet interesting also use the technique from mathematics,when I read the course note before the lecture is real confusing me, but the actual content in the lecture time is not that complex, maybe I wish the course material could explaining a bit easier.

This week is talk about counting steps, worst-case, and formal big-Oh. A few new topics and interesting contents. This is actually the first time i learn the new logic sign "floor", and this week lecture is also a good review time for the knowledge of growth rate rank, and i never expect would use this piece mathematics material into computer science course. For the next week term test, feel sort of nervous as usual, hopefully I will be work fine if I attend to the office hours.

csc165 week 7
The assignment two is going to due soon, this week will be the last week of my mid term, but after next week we just have another csc 165 test, this time I wont make the same mistake as last time, since more and more assignment is due after this week I better to catching up the stuff I left behind, and prepare questions that confuse in the lecture and attend to the office hours as much as I could. this term from what I can guess should be focus on the proofing process, and the form of different technique of proving. Better working hard!!!
CSC165 Week 6
Just revived the midterm test in the early week, kind of excited but turns out a lot of disappointment. I am not really happy about the marks, since I realize I made a lot of silly mistake that cause by being careless on reading the questions. But that didn't stop the motivation of learning csc 165 materials, in stead of regretting , I decide to work harder, and more enthusiastic. In this week we learning new notation its called floor, it is rare to see this notation in mathematical textbook but in computer science is seems pretty commonly use.
